Terms of Use for ColSky
The Terms of Use for ColSky and indeed the whole suite of digital tools for the Sim Game can be found here.
ColSky – how to change your profile pic
If you try to change your profile picture in ColSky and it does not work, this is what to do!
Please do this on a laptop, NOT on a mobile!
1) Click here:
2) In the menu that pops up, choose “Classic ColSky”
3) In the page that loads, click Edit next to the default avatar
4) Then click Avatar on the left, and then upload your new avatar
5) When you’re done, click “New Twitcol” to return to the nicer standard interface:
Mobile Apps for ColSky
On Android you need to download the free app AndStatus (Google Play Store here). On iOS the previously useable free app Shoyu (Apple App Store here) still works if you have it already, but cannot be downloaded currently. On iOS you probably need to use a web browser instead – sorry!
How to configure AndStatus
When you open the app the first time you get a server list like this. Do NOT choose any of these, but instead tap the + at the top right:
Enter it like this – obviously replacing twitcol.simgame.eu with colsky.simgame.eu, and leaving all other settings unchanged:
When that is saved, ColSky will then show in the server list:
Tap on it and you get this screen – enter your ColSky username and password here:
That’s then it!
How to configure Shoyu
When you open the app the first time:
Enter your ColSky username and password, and make sure you enter the server exactly like this – inc. the https:// (replacing twitcol with colsky in the URL, obviously!)
And that’s it!
Mobile Apps for wp
For this the default WordPress apps can be used. You need to create your blog (and associated username and password) on wp first, and then add this to your WordPress App. WordPress for Android is here, for iOS is here.
How to use the eVoting tool
There are no usernames and passwords for the secure eVoting system – it is all done with one time tokens sent to your College of Europe email address. Those organising meetings will tell you when a vote is scheduled, and be sure to take a device on which you can access your College email with you.
